Looking for that special picture to put on your living room wall? How about an early start on the Christmas shopping?
Local photographer Suzette A. Paduano will be hosting a show with more than 40 new pictures available for purchase at Something Unique, a framing shop in Sherman, this Friday evening. Featuring local outdoor photography, Mrs. Paduano captured landscapes, animals and plants from around Chautauqua County.
"There's no real rhyme or reason to my photography; I do more or less what's in front of me," Mrs. Paduano said. "What I am shown I take pictures of." She assures that all her photos are natural, and that she never adds anything after she captures the moment.
Photos like this one, called “Moody Rose,” will be on display at a show for local photographer Suzette A. Paduano.
"What I take is what you get," she said.
Mrs. Paduano has been working with outdoor photography for about four years and previously worked at a photography studio. She is now president of the Jamestown Audubon Photography Club and takes many pictures on her own property.
"I have like my own Audubon right here," she says. "I have a pond and animals and flowers and a bird sanctuary going out front. I have been so blessed with living where I live."
Mrs. Paduano will be at Something Unique from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday night. The show will continue thought Oct. 23. Something Unique is located at 121 W. Main St. in Sherman.
